Lexie grew up in Lafayette, LA. She moved to Baton Rouge and graduated from Southern Law School. After having two boys, Lexie began hot power yoga to get into a workout routine. She then discovered Baptiste Hot Power Yoga and after practicing for only a few short weeks, she noticed differences not only in her body, but also in her emotional well-being. Wanting to deepen her own practice and knowledge of the asanas, she enrolled in the 200-hour Expand Your Power program with Master Baptiste teacher, Leach Cullis. She has completed the Art of Assisting and loves helping students deepen their practice through hands-on assists. She appreciates the opportunity to be of service to her students by delivering a powerful practice and creating connection through breath and acceptance. She loves helping her students get out of their comfort zones and find their edge, as well as some fun, in every pose.
After realizing an increase in strength and flexibility, and a decrease in stress and anxiety through her own yoga practice, Jenny only wished that she had been introduced to yoga sooner! Jenny knew that children would benefit from learning breathing techniques, body awareness, and stillness. Jenny encourages children to explore mindfulness and to challenge themselves in trying out new yoga poses. Jenny is committed to helping children tune in to their innate power and creativity.
Jenny is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She completed the Baptiste Institute’s 200-hour teacher training program at Oui Power Yoga, led by Master Baptiste teacher Leah Cullis. Jenny is also a licensed Next Generation Yoga® instructor.

Shari Blem has been into health and wellness all her life, starting with the love of sports at a young age. She has a passion for running and tennis, and has been practicing yoga for over a decade.
Shari fell so much in love with yoga and feels "as an adult, yoga has brought a healing balance and calm to her life unlike any other sports or exercise”.
She completed her 200 hour Teacher Training in 2013 at the Lafayette Center For Yoga and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance.
Shari then furthered her yoga training, specializing in Children’s Yoga with children’s yoga expert Shana Meyerson’s and completed her "mini yogis" program.
Shari continues her studies in workshops and seminars in child’s and adult yoga to this day. She teaches to kids and teens at local schools and to adults at homeless shelters.
She practices and teaches Yin and Vinyasa Yoga but believes that any yoga is good yoga and that yoga is a “gift to your body”.
