Lexie grew up in Lafayette, LA. She moved to Baton Rouge and graduated from Southern Law School. After having two boys, Lexie began hot power yoga to get into a workout routine. She then discovered Baptiste Hot Power Yoga and after practicing for only a few short weeks, she noticed differences not only in her body, but also in her emotional well-being. Wanting to deepen her own practice and knowledge of the asanas, she enrolled in the 200-hour Expand Your Power program with Master Baptiste teacher, Leach Cullis. She has completed the Art of Assisting and loves helping students deepen their practice through hands-on assists. She appreciates the opportunity to be of service to her students by delivering a powerful practice and creating connection through breath and acceptance. She loves helping her students get out of their comfort zones and find their edge, as well as some fun, in every pose.

Jenny encourages children to explore mindfulness and to challenge themselves in trying out new yoga poses. Jenny is committed to helping children tune in to their innate power and creativity.

Courtney’s classes offer the opportunity for a student to go deeper. Receiving her certification while living at the Shoshoni ashram in Nederland, Colorado, Courtney became a believer in yoga as the practice of heart first, physical asana second. Along with a spiritual focus, Courtney is also a fascia super-nerd, becoming fascinated by the healing powers of the connective tissue while teaching in New Zealand under yin master and studio owner, Amy Green. Courtney is focused on guiding you into your yin too. Come open, come allowing and prepare to unfold into a safe space for mind, body and spirit. Courtney believes that the practice should make space, lighten and empower you; only internally will we find TRUE peace, happiness, love, and authentic freedom.
Jamie fell in love with yoga when she first began practicing at the age of 19. She explored many styles of yoga before becoming the studio manager of Oui Power Yoga, where she developed a passion for Baptiste Yoga. Her dedication to her own practice and to the Oui community led to her to enroll in and complete True Power Teacher Training under Senior Baptiste Teacher Alyson Giuffreda. Through this program, she earned her 200-hour registered yoga teacher certification and gained a greater appreciation for the self-inquiry aspect of her practice.
Jamie is currently working on graduating from UL Lafayette with a Masters in Communication and leading a public relations campaign to involve the Lafayette yoga community in the mission of Africa Yoga Project. She is committed to accessing her truest self on and off the mat, and she encourages self-exploration and possibility through the physical practice of yoga.
